How many times have you made a New Year’s resolution you failed to implement into your daily life? If you are anything like me, you start out with the best intentions and then life seems to throw you back into the same old patterns. Most New Year’s resolutions involve changing something in your current lifestyle that is not allowing you to be in balance with yourself or the environment. A sure way to help your health and the environment is to start thinking about simplifying your life by reducing, reusing and, of course, recycling. Tackling climate change is something that each one of us can play a part in by reducing our carbon footprint and making changes to ensure a sustainable future. In October, WWF's Living Planet Report found that America’s use of natural resources per person is now so big that the country has one of the largest ecological footprints in the world. It’s time to walk the talk and start making changes to go green this New Year.
