This DIY T-shirt can be made with just a few snips.
Turning your old t-shirts into something sexy and summer-worthy can be easy. In fact, it can be just as easy as hunting down your nearest pair of scissors. Many a lady covets the halter top during the scorching months. These ladies flock to their go-to stores to stock their drawers with halter tops that came with far too high of a price—to their bank accounts and to the environment. If you've got some old t-shirts you're no longer wearing, don't bother buying a halter top for the summer. You can just make a halter top yourself by following the steps below.
How to turn your t-shirt into a halter top:
1. Locate your shirt
I actually used a tank top instead of a t-shirt for this project, but if you have a t-shirt, simply cut off the sleeves.
2. Cut across the back of the shirt
Cut from the bottom of one arm hole to the bottom of the other arm hole. Once this is done, cut a 'V' shape out of the fabric above the cut. This should leave you with two long straps.
3. Put your shirt on and tie the straps together around your neck to your liking
This shirt is an easy way to enjoy the summer months without buying anything new or letting an unused t-shirt continue to live a lonely life without wear.
