Unlike most women, men have the ability to grow facial hair well. A clean-shaven jaw is a sign of professionalism in the business world, but a lot of successful people have had beards: Darwin, Moses, Marx, Da Vinci, Lincoln, Pericles and Aquaman circa 1994.

It is okay to get a little fuzzy in the face. In fact, it is better for the environment than shaving with disposable razors everyday. It will also save water. Men, if you can face not hacking your stubble off everyday, you'll be able to save the planet by just a hair.

Women, although your faces are probably smooth as peach skin, you, too, can skip a step in your daily routine. By washing your hair less often, you'll be able to save water and the environment in which the water originates.

Women and long-haired men can cut their hair to lengths that require less washing if they want to save water that way.

No matter your gender, growing hair can create growing ecological concerns. So trim your water use.
