This sexy shirt requires no sewing and is perfect for summer.
It's getting warm—even in New York! When the sun starts showing its warmly welcomed (ok, pun intended) face in our corner of the world, clothing starts getting skimpier and skimpier--which is fine by me as long as you aren't going out to the store to buy your sexy summer clothes each time the season rolls around. Cut back on your consumption this summer by revamping one of the t-shirts you already have into something...more comfortable.
How to make a sexy shirt that ties all the way down the side:
Choose a T-shirt
Locate your t-shirt.
Cut Triangles on Sides of Shirt
Cut a slender triangle on each side of the t-shirt. It should be skinniest near the arm hole and wider at the bottom of the shirt.
Cut Holes Up Sides of Slit
Use your scissors to cut little holes up the sides of each slit For every hole you make, make sure there is one in the same place on the other side of the slit. You can do this by simply pinching a tiny bit of fabric and slitting it.
Cut Fabric to Create String Cut the fabric from the triangles you cut earlier to make tiny little strings that are about 2-4 inches long each. Tie Strings and Enjoy Tie the tiny little strings between each pair of holes all the way up the sides of the shirt. Enjoy! This project is an easy way to make an old t-shirt sexy and summer ready. Looking hot the green way is...well, hotter.
