There is nothing more frustrating than a company or individual that knowingly violates environmental laws put into place not just to protect the environment, but to protect us. Now you can put an end to known eco-violators easily and unanimously. According to Natural Awakenings, the EPA has recently launched a new web tool that allows citizens to go online and give tips that help law enforcement find eco-fugitives.

The Web site features an easy-to-use online form where you can report criminals anonymously to the D.C. office of the which will then relay the message to local police. The Web site also provides information about known former violators including pictures so that citizens can do their part and stay on the lookout.

According to the EPA's Web site some violations could include "smoke or other emissions from local industrial facilities, tampering with emission control or air conditioning systems in automobiles, and improper treatment, storage, or disposal of hazardous wastes" to name a few.
