Are you a crafter with environmental sensibilities? Want to see what other eco crafters are cooking up? Check out CraftingAGreenWorld.com.
You'll find instructions, advice and hilarious stories about things gone wrong. There are interviews with crafters, posts on craftivism, and reviews of some pretty amazing crafting, upcycling and recycling books. And if you're in the market for organic cotton fabric or an eco-friendly yarn, this blog has it just about covered.
Personally, I love Crafting a Green World as both a source of information and inspiration. It often points me in new creative directions, and helps me when I need to know something about a material or tool.
There are also a lot of really practical green projects, such as the DIY rain barrel project and a hanging tomato planter project. They also have projects perfect for keeping the kids from driving you nuts this summer (we love the recipes for natural play dough)
So if you're into crafting?or just into trolling around the net looking at crafting sites?head over to Crafting A Green World for equal parts insight and instruction (with a dash of delicious craziness on the side).
Cara Smusiak writes on behalf of Naturally Savvy.com about how to live a more natural, organic and green lifestyle.
