I first started using eye pillows during the relaxation period at the end of my yoga classes and then decided that there was no reason why I couldn't carry this relaxation practice into other portions of my day. Why was my relaxation period only at the end of my yoga class? But it's hard to relax under the bright lights. You can make these fabulous little eyes pillows with stuff that you just have sitting around the house and space out any time you like.

Here's what you'll need:

- Scraps of fabric that you have lying around

- Thread

- Straight pins

- Scissors

- Scrap paper

- A ruler

- 1 cup quinoa

Method

1. Cut a 4 inch by 8 inch rectangle in your scrap paper.

2. Place the piece of the paper on top of your scrap fabric and trace it with a pencil. Cut it out.

3. Sew the top, bottom, and one side with the sewing machine.

4. Make sure it's filled with quinoa to your liking but not over filled.

5. Sew the last side.
