It's the time of the year when the holiday parties seem to never end. Whether you prefer your holiday spirits on the rocks or hot mulled, what could be more festive during the holiday season than a basket of cheer?

Bartenders work double-duty this season serving up cocktails for spirited party-goers. Here's how to fill up a DIY basket of cheer for your favorite bartender:

1. Weave a basket.

Using old newspapers or magazines, fold and weave a basket to hold all the goodies.

2. Make a drinks tray.

Turn a picture frame into cocktail tray.

3. Sew some reusable cocktail napkins.

Using an old holiday inspired plaid flannel shirt cut and sew these cloth napkins.
