DoLeaf Connects Gardeners with Independent Growers
DoLeaf is a brand new online marketplace that connects gardeners with independent plant and seed distributors. It gets you out of big box stores and supports fellow gardeners who are raising quality organic, heirloom, and specialty plants.
You can sort through plants based on category, such as fruit bearing, heirloom, organic, vegetables, grasses, annuals, and so on, and then quickly see the sun and water requirements, growth rate, and shipping method right on the plant thumbnail.
The website is in beta mode, though, and so the categories - especially specific to heirloom and organic - are still slim pickin's. The selection will expand as more people utilize it.
Do You Have Heirloom Plants to Sell?
If you raise organic plants or have heirloom plants and seeds you'd like to sell, DoLeaf needs you! DoLeaf is actively recruiting independent growers who are interested in setting up an online storefront and selling plants for free. It's a simple process, and they even have a video up that walks you through the steps of setting up a storefront.
Right now, there is little or no items to choose from in two of the most important categories - heirloom and organic. So if you want to help more people gain access to eco-friendly plants, consider selling your wares on DoLeaf!
