Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is just around the corner and that means one thing: It's time to string up the holiday decorations. Whatever your decorating has involved in the past, this year is the perfect time to create some new traditions. It's a way to slow down, reduce waste and consumption, and make the holiday, whichever you celebrate, your own.
Of course, the ideal tradition to start or continue is making your own decorations either by upcycling common waste items or reusing your old decorations in ways that make them look new.
