Get soft hands with these commonly found items.
My mom was always purchasing lotion going for the purpose of softening her hands. What she didn't know is that there are a lot of commonly-found items that can do the trick when mixed together. If you don't believe me, try this hand softener recipe out on your own hands. You'll be glad you did. Mine are still softer than they were before and I did this project over 12 hours ago.
How to make hand softener:
1. Locate your ingredients.
You'll need: olive oil, vodka, lemon juice, dried flower petals, water, and salt—preferably sea salt.
2. Mix the ingredients.
Pour 1/4 cup of olive oil into a bowl. Mix in 1/4 cup of vodka, one teaspoon of lemon juice, and 1/2 cup of water. Once these are mixed, mix in one tablespoon of sea salt and one tablespoon of crunched up dried flower petals.
3. Spread this mixture over your hands and let is set for 1 or 2 minutes.
Then Rinse.
Enjoy! This easy formula will leave your hands feeling instantly softer without having to purchase anything new.
