Meet Tom Brunzelle

Along with Minda, Tom drives Naperville Jewelry & Loan's day-to-day operations. For him, there is no typical routine. Whether he's helping customers evaluate diamonds, expanding in-house computer systems, or helping the online sales team, Tom spends his time in the trenches.

Growing up, Tom's focus was making money. He borrowed his dad's tools and went door to door offering fix-it services. Later in life, he managed college taverns to pay his way through school. After earning his masters degree in education, Tom focused his energies on entrepreneurship. He entered the pawn business with Minda, Nikki and Greg and never looked back.

At the shop, Tom's specialty is customer relations. He is known in the pawn industry as a fair and honest negotiator. He uses his education degree to his advantage: customers get facts as to why their item is worth what it's worth. Naperville Jewelry & Loan prides itself on treating all customers with dignity and respect, and Tom's demeanor is a big reason why. Tom's biggest thrill is finding big money in items that everyone else wrote off as valueless. Currently, Tom is pursuing his GIA Diamond Appraisal certification.
