Q: When and where was your wedding?
A: Sept. 2, 2007, a beach setting in Montauk, N.Y.
Q: How did you meet your fiance?
A: We met on an online dating site in 2005. It was love at first type ... he sent me a virtual "smile," and I "smiled" back. The first time we spoke, we were on the phone until 2 a.m. - it was like we had known each other our entire lives.
Q: How did he propose?
A: Frank took me for an impromptu romantic getaway weekend in Montauk (the same place where we got married) on July 28, 2006. The proposal took me completely by surprise. He drove me to a secluded beach, where he proposed to me on one knee by the ocean.
Q: What were you looking for in a gown?
A: I was looking for something simple and elegant. I wanted to feel like a princess, but with no beading and no lace.
Q: Did you know anything about gowns before you had to shop for one?
A: I had no idea what to expect when gown shopping, but I did learn a few things along the way - such as that one size does not fit all. All the samples were too small, and my maid of honor, Julia, usually had to hold the dress together in the back.
