Her husband and two best friends have all begged her to stop wearing second-hand sweaters and corduroy cast-offs. Enter Wayne Scot Lukas and Stacy London, two stylists not known for any closet compassion. It's a week of tough love as country casual meets city chic. With hairstylist Nick Arrojo determined to give her short hair more femininity, and makeup artist Carmindy Bowyer turning up the glamour, might the woman nicknamed "Saint Ann" discover her seriously stylish side?

Ann's Rules and Shopping Details

Ann's old wardrobe was full of bulky sweaters, bad-fitting pants and scruffy shoes.

Ann's Rules:

1. First up, Wayne and Stacy showed Ann a fitted zip-up, light-weight sweater to accentuate her shape, teamed with a pretty pink fitted T-shirt. The accompanying jeans were straight leg with a lower waist than Ann would normally wear. A light-weight raincoat was thrown over the outfit to complete the look.
2. Ann was advised to seek a mix-and-match wardrobe in neutral shades and then accent sporadically with color.
3. Ultimately, she was told to look for lots of fitted and feminine clothes!

The Look: Pink and Romantic

1. Apply a medium coverage foundation to the face with a sponge. Try Laura Mercier's oil-free foundation, available at any major department store.
2. Apply a translucent powder to set the face. Try MAC's Blot in "medium," available at any MAC store.
3. Apply a sparkling pink blush to the apples of the cheeks. Try Sue Devitt's blush in "Kathrine," available at Sephora.
4. Apply a sheer pink eye shadow to the entire lid from brow bone to crease. Try Lorac eye shadow in "Mesmerize."
5. Apply a burgundy-colored eyeliner along the lash line on top and bottom with an angle brush. Try Sue Devitt's eyeliner in "Kenya."
6. Apply brown mascara on bottom and top lashes.
7. Apply pink lip gloss. Try Nars "Baby Doll" lip gloss, available at Sephora.

Nick's Hair Tips

Hair color (Aveda's Full Spectrum "Rich Auburn Brown.") Apply styling cream (Bumble and Bumble) to damp hair, allow to dry and finish with Shine Serum (KMS) to give definition and separation.

Note: Nick mentioned he only washes his hair with shampoo every few months, but it's in fantastic condition. He mentioned that there are products you can get to maintain good hygiene; they are:

KMS Turnstyler "Do Over" cleansing spray, which is a liquid spray that will cleanse the hair and scalp.

Bumble and Bumble Tonic containing Tea Tree Oil, which will maintain health and hygiene.
