Holli

Working with Dolphins is great, but when you start to dress like one... then you've got a problem. When former pageant queen Holli is not at work, she's either sporting dolphin motif T-shirts or dressed all in black with a dolphin necklace. This Key Largo girl dresses like a fish out of water and needs some serious fashion therapy. Can Wayne and Stacy transform her aquatic style, or will dolphin chic rule the day?

Holli's Rules and Shopping Details

Wayne and Stacy needed to give Holli a new look for her casual lifestyle - she certainly didn't need anything for "the office"!

Holli's Rules:

1. Holli's old style was comprised of over-sized tops and tight bottoms, giving her a "wide and short" look. The stylists showed her a fitted light-weight white shirt teamed with a pair of short denim pants with a wide cut. The length was very important, as it would make Holli's legs look longer. A light-weight trench in a neutral shade complimented the look, giving Holli a more elongated look. The rule: Look for vertical rather than horizontal layering.

2. Holli had an addiction to heavyweight sweatshirts. Wayne and Stacy showed her a great outfit as an alternative: light-weight, hooded sweatshirt in a muted yellow tone that cut right at the waist, loose and stretchy khaki Capri pants, and to set the outfit off, a floral print V-neck top with an empire waist. The top would skim away from Holli's body and the floral, very feminine print, would make her eyes pop!

3. Wayne and Stacy knew there was no chance of getting Holli away from her love of black, so they showed her a black leather collarless jacket that hung just below the waist. It had very clean lines and was completely unfussy. They teamed it up with a denim skirt in very thin cotton that hung just above the knee (a lot longer than Holli would have normally chosen). It could be worn with sneakers or pretty slides.
