Gloria Moroni is senior appraiser at The Perfect Thing, her daughter Judy's high-end consignment boutique just outside of Chicago. While raising nine children in the Mid-West, her passion for fine furnishings and antiques never waned. Now for nearly 40 years, Gloria has been in the estate business telling it like it is.
Throughout her career, Gloria's integrity and revered reputation led to working with the Illinois courts as a personal property appraisal expert. With extensive education in appreciation, connoisseurship and identification, she specializes in appreciable residential contents (fine silver, crystal, porcelain and collectibles).
Gloria values the fact that her work has broadened her view of the world and taken her out of her "parochial mindset!" According to Gloria, meeting all the interesting customers at The Perfect Thing is the best part of the job because every person has a story.
Gloria is a founder of the ISA Education Foundation.
